Buchuan Zheng is
an electric guitarist and composer from Beijing.
He studied electric guitar in Weimar with Frank Möbus since 2018. Since then, he has focused his output on improvised music and avant-garde.
From 2023 to 2025, he studied at HKB Bern with Ronny Graupe, Django Bates and Jim Black and on 2024 he will be playing with Joëlle Léandre at the JazzWerkstatt Festival Bern.
In 2022, he released his debut album I "the birth of flying whale" together with Yefan Zhu.
Since Otober 2025, He is pursuing a jazz composition/Arr. master in HfMT Köln.
